3 years agoKansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez isn't in the team's lineup on Friday as they get set to take on the St. Louis Cardinals and right-hander Adam Wainwright. Perez has been one of fantasy baseball's more productive catchers this season, batting .276 with a .304 on-base percentage, 27 home runs, and a stolen base in 438 plate appearances. Cam Gallagher is starting in Perez's place behind the plate and is hitting eighth. If you need a streaming option at catcher, you're probably better off looking elsewhere.
