3 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Robbie Grossman (elbow) isn't in the team's lineup on Friday after being hit by a pitch on his elbow during Thursday's game. The Tigers begin a three-game series against the Cleveland Indians on Friday with a matchup against right-hander Cal Quantrill but will do so without one of their best hitters. Grossman is batting .235 with a .362 on-base percentage, 17 home runs, and 12 stolen bases in 460 plate appearances this season. The outfielder is getting the day off on Friday and will definitely be someone to monitor for updates in the coming days. Victor Reyes is starting in right field in Grossman's place against Quantrill and is batting seventh.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
