3 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Mark Canha will play right field and bat leadoff on Friday against right-handed pitcher Mike Foltynewicz and the visiting Texas Rangers. Oakland's outfield was shuffled after centerfielder Ramon Laureano was suspended 80 games after testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs. Canha has been solid for fantasy managers when healthy this season, slashing .249/.347/.443 with 11 home runs, 37 RBI, and 10 stolen bases on 83 hits. The 32-year-old has been at his strongest against right-handed pitchers, which gives him the advantage over Foltynewicz who enters Friday's game with a 6.00 ERA.--Chelena Goldman
