Kadarius Toney Closer To Full Return
3 years agoNew York Giants Head Coach Joe Judge said that rookie wide receiver Kadarius Toney is "doing more and more every day." "We're pleased with what he's doing on the field. He's progressing physically at a nice rate. Right now, we're building toward next week." The Giants rookie wideout is getting closer to a "full go" at training camp and participated in 11-on-11's during Friday's practice. The 22-year-old was lined up with the second-team offense. Toney has been limited to warm-ups and individual drills before Friday's practice. He is buried on the Giants wide receiver depth chart behind Kenny Golladay, Sterling Shepard, and Darius Slayton. The 20th pick of the 2021 NFL Draft might not see a significant role in his rookie season, but due to his upside is worth a late-round flier in deep-league formats.
