3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton (hand) will join the Twins on the field for "reasonably full workouts" when they return from their current road trip, according to Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com. Manager Rocco Baldelli said that the team will then assess his readiness for a rehab assignment later this week. Buxton has been limited to just 27 games this year, but he's put up great numbers when he's been on the field, slashing .369/.409/.767 with 10 homers, five steals, 19 RBI and 21 runs scored. Hopefully he'll be able to return to action soon and provide a good boost in value down the final stretch.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
