3 years agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Brandon Lowe went 2-for-5 with a grand slam, a double, a walk, and five RBI during Saturday's 12-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles. He blasted a grand slam off Orioles reliever Cesar Valdez in the eighth inning to extend the Rays lead 9-3. The 27-year-old drove in a season-high five runs on Saturday and has logged eight RBI over his last six games. Lowe is slashing .218/.329/.467 with 24 homers, 60 RBI, 64 runs scored, and three stolen bases across 423 plate appearances in 2021. Despite the low batting average, Lowe continues to produce in homers, RBI and runs scored, making him a solid second base option in most league formats.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
