3 years agoCincinnati Reds relief pitcher Lucas Sims (elbow) was activated from the injured list on Sunday. The Reds placed fellow relief pitcher Brad Brach on the 10-day injured list with a right shoulder impingement to make room on the active roster. Sims has pitched to a 5.02 ERA, a 3.45 FIP, 44 strikeouts, and 15 walks in 28.2 innings this season. He's also collected seven saves. The Reds haven't always had a set closer this season, as four different relief pitchers have at least three saves. All that being said, Sims is someone fantasy managers should keep an eye on if they need saves or holds as he's been much better than his ERA would indicate.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
