3 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu was roughed up by the Red Sox on Sunday, allowing seven earned runs over 3 2/3 IP. The veteran southpaw wasn't at his sharpest by surrendering 10 hits and a walk while recording just one strikeout, but his offense bailed him out late to give him a no-decision. Ryu still holds a respectable 3.62 ERA and 1.18 WHIP on the year, but with 103 K in 126 2/3 IP, his inability to miss bats makes him prone to outings like this one if his pitch mix isn't on point.
