3 years agoDetroit Tigers infielder Niko Goodrum (calf) will be activated from the 10-day injured list prior to Tuesday's game, the team announced on Twitter on Sunday. To make room for his arrival, the Tigers optioned shortstop Zack Short to Triple-A Toledo. Goodrum landed on the injured list with a left calf strain in mid-July, and prior to that he was slashing .220/.296/.341 with six home runs, 18 RBI, and 12 stolen bases over 63 games.
