D.J. Chark Jr. Undergoes Minor Hand Surgery
3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver D.J. Chark Jr. (hand) recently underwent surgery to repair a hairline fracture in his hand. Chark had been out of practice for a few days prior to the news before head coach Urban Meyer revealed the details. By all accounts, Chark is still expected to be on the field for Week 1. Chark's injury isn't ideal by any means, as he will miss out on critical preseason repetitions with rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence, but with that being said, if Chark is indeed ready for Week 1, the injury shouldn't be a major factor in his season. Chark's injury bumps him down a few spots among WR3s, but he remains in that range and he still projects as a volatile yet enticing option in drafts this summer.
