Reid Detmers Roughed Up In Second Start
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Reid Detmers (0-2) had another poor outing on Sunday against the Los Angeles Dodgers in their 8-2 loss. He gave up five runs with five strikeouts and two walks seven days after allowing six runs in his first career start. He now has a 10.61 ERA with seven strikeouts, four base on balls, and three home runs allowed. Detmers was having a good minor league season before his promotion, producing a 3.15 ERA with a 43 K% in 60 IP. He is a good player in dynasty formats and should eventually become a solid starter with high strikeout numbers for the Angels. But right now, he has shown no signs of being significant in redraft leagues.
