Tanner Houck Strikes Out Six In Rotation Tune-Up
3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Tanner Houck made his first start since Martin Perez was demoted to the bullpen Saturday, lasting 3 2/3 innings and allowing one run on three hits and two walks to the Toronto Blue Jays. He struck out six batters. While Houck has not officially been added to the starting rotation, it seems clear that both he and Chris Sale will be taking their turns going forward. Houck has elite strikeout upside, with 36 in 25 2/3 innings this season, and is worth an add in deep redraft leagues. He's long been a must in dynasty and keeper formats.
