3 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Jordan Lyles struggled to get anyone out during Sunday's game against the Oakland Athletics. He went 5 1/3 innings, 10 hits allowed, six earned runs, four walks, and four strikeouts in the 6-3 loss. Lyles was an inning-eater in this one and threw 114 pitches before his departure. This season, Lyles is posting a 5.46 ERA, 1.48 WHIP, and 100 strikeouts over 125 1/3 innings. His next matchup will be another battle with the Oakland Athletics, so fantasy managers can continue to ignore him.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
