3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Kwang Hyun Kim (elbow) was placed on the injured list, retroactive to August 8, due to inflammation in his left elbow. Reports state that the injury has been affecting Kim for a while, which helps to explain why he hasn't been pitching as well lately. For now, it remains unclear whether this is a long-term issue or something that may only cause Kim to miss a pair of starts. Jack Flaherty (oblique) is expected back soon and will likely take Kim's spot if he's healthy.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
