3 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Andrew Benintendi (shoulder) will return to the lineup batting fifth and playing left field on Monday against Jameson Taillon and the visiting New York Yankees. Benintendi exited last Tuesday's game with a left shoulder strain and was considered day-to-day. The 27-year-old left fielder is having an up-and-down season for KC, hitting .255/.306/.409 overall with 11 home runs, 38 RBI, and eight stolen bases on 76 hits with 41 runs scored. He could be a fantasy option in deep leagues, but nothing more.--Chelena Goldman
