Daniel Hudson Throws Live BP On Monday
3 years agoSan Diego Padres relief pitcher Daniel Hudson (illness) threw a live batting practice on Monday, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reported. The 34-year-old right-hander was acquired from the Washington Nationals at the trade deadline but has been quarantining after testing positive for COVID-19. Hudson had a solid season for Washington, posting a 4-1 record with a 2.20 ERA through 32 2/3 innings pitched. However, his fantasy status with the Padres remains a question mark since he hasn't been able to establish himself in San Diego's bullpen yet.
