3 years agoAtlanta Braves relief pitcher Shane Greene has been designated for assignment by the organization on Tuesday. He got off to a late start to the season since he wasn't signed until May. Greene posted a 8.47 ERA with five homers allowed in just 17 innings with the Braves. The 32-year-old has a solid track record, so he should land on his feet somewhere. Although, it's uncertain if he'll offer much fantasy value. Left-handed reliever A.J. Minter has been recalled and will take over Greene's role in the bullpen. He has been pitching well in the minors, but won't pitch in high leverage spots.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
