3 years agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers have activated reliever Corey Knebel prior to Tuesday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies, according to Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic. In a corresponding move the Dodgers have placed reliever Joe Kelly on the injured list. Knebel hit the IL on April 24, and hasn't been back to action since. Knebel was having a productive year out of the Dodgers bullpen, producing a 4.50 ERA, but striking out 37.5% of hitters along with a 12.5 BB% in six innings of work. If he can start back up from where he left off, it shouldn't be long before he finds himself in high leverage situations. Most of his value comes in leagues that count holds, but also may have some value in other leagues with his high strikeout rate and possible save opportunities if Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen struggles.--Spencer Seguin - RotoBaller
