3 years agoSeattle Mariners second baseman/outfielder Shed Long Jr. (shin) visited a specialist recently to have his right shin examined, according to Daniel Kramer of MLB.com. Long has been on the injured list with a right shin stress reaction — which is the same injury that ended his 2020 campaign and required off-season surgery. Clearly this is not a good sign for Long, as it seems he may once again find his season cut short. Long was slashing .198/.258/.360 over 34 games this season, so there's really no reason to hold onto him at this point in any redraft format.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
