3 years agoNew York Yankees designated hitter Giancarlo Stanton isn't starting in Wednesday's contest against the Kansas City Royals. He will get the day off after hitting .314 (11-for-35) with one homer and eight RBI, including a stretch with five straight multi-hit efforts over his last 10 games. Stanton will be available off the bench, and his next chance to return will be Thursday against the White Sox. Aaron Judge is batting third and is the designated hitter on Wednesday.
