Myles Straw Isn't Starting On Wednesday
3 years agoCleveland Indians centerfielder Myles Straw isn't starting on Wednesday for a matchup with the Oakland Athletics and right-handed starter Frankie Montas. Straw is hitting .267 with a .338 on-base percentage, three home runs, and 19 stolen bases in 418 plate appearances this season. He's hitting .304 in 48 plate appearances since being dealt to Cleveland at the trade deadline but will get Wednesday off. Bradley Zimmer is starting in center field and batting leadoff in Straw's place. The 28-year-old could be worth a look as a streaming option for fantasy managers in deeper leagues. In 186 plate appearances this year, Zimmer is batting .247 with a .355 on-base percentage, four home runs, and eight stolen bases.
