Marvin Jones Jr. Returns To Practice
3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars free-agent wide receiver addition Marvin Jones Jr. (personal) returned to practice on Tuesday after being absent for several days. There was never any sense of concern around Jones' absence from training camp, but it's comforting that the veteran wideout was able to return on Tuesday. While Jones doesn't have much to learn at this point in his career, he does need ample time to build chemistry with his new quarterback, rookie Trevor Lawrence. Some around the team have speculated that Jones is Lawrence's most trusted target early on, so continuing to build that rapport could pay dividends for Jones. Jones remains on the WR4/5 borderline going into 2021, and he projects as a nice value in drafts at his 12th-round ADP.
