James Robinson Looking Strong In Training Camp
3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars second-year running back James Robinson is having a nice camp, according to reports. According to SI's John Shipley, the Jaguars running back group looked good on Tuesday, "with Robinson especially having a strong day." Robinson's role will likely be scaled back in 2021 due to the addition of rookie running back Travis Etienne Jr., but a strong camp could go a long way in terms of Robinson earning touches. Robinson showed out in his rookie season last year, and most reports out of camp have him as the unquestioned early down back going into the season. If Robinson can dominate carries, he should live up to his 22.7 ADP, though he is expected to lose most of the passing-game work to Etienne, making him a lower-ceiling pick than some other RB2 backs.
