3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto (head) exited Wednesday's game after being hit in the face mask by a foul tip, according to Matt Gelb of The Athletic. Realmuto was hit in the face mask in the top of the first inning, and Andrew Knapp entered the game in the bottom half of the inning as a pinch hitter. It seems that Realmuto is likely being examined for the possibility of a concussion, but there's no word yet on his condition.
