Mike Trout Won't Be Shut Down
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout (calf) won't be shut down for the remainder of the season, the Angels have announced. However, there is still no timetable for his return, and he has not yet resumed baseball activities. The Angels have been very cautious with their star outfielder, who hasn't seen the field since injuring his calf which landed him on the IL on May 18. Before his long absence, he was having another Trout-like year, slashing .333/.466/.624 with eight home runs and two stolen bases in 36 games. It's positive news in a frustrating situation for fantasy managers, who are running out of patience for a Trout return.
