3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Jacob deGrom (elbow) will undergo an MRI in the next few days, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports. If the MRI comes back clean, then he will restart his throwing program. He has been out of action since July 7 and landed on the IL July 18 with right forearm tightness and was dealing with elbow inflammation unrelated to his forearm afterward. There is no timeline for his return yet. Before his injury, he was arguably having his best season yet with a 1.08 ERA, 45.1 K%, 3.4 BB%, and just six home runs allowed over 92 innings. Fantasy managers are yearning for a deGrom return, and he should continue to be dominant once he's back.--Spencer Seguin - RotoBaller
