3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper went 1-for-2 with a home run in a win over the Dodgers on Thursday. Harper also walked twice and scored a second run to account for all the offense Philly would need on the afternoon. The 28-year-old has catapulted himself into the NL MVP race with a monster second half thus far. Since the All-Star break, Harper is batting .342 with six homers and a 1.179 OPS as the Phillies surged into first place in the NL East.
