Dwayne Haskins Impresses In Second Preseason Game
3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers quarterback Dwayne Haskins turned in a quality performance in his team's second preseason game. Haskins completed 16 of 22 passes for 161 yards and a touchdown in his team's 24-16 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. The young quarterback has been drawing rave reviews for his performance during camp this year and he continued that strong performance on Thursday night. Haskins' lone touchdown pass was a 22-yard completion to wide receiver Anthony Johnson in the third quarter. Haskins has been engaged in a camp battle with Mason Rudolph for the No. 2 quarterback job behind Ben Roethlisberger. Rudolph helped his case on Thursday, as well, completing eight of nine passes for 77 yards. Whoever wins the job could possibly see some action in the regular season considering Roethlisberger's age and injury history.
