3 years agoDetroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown caught two passes for 12 yards in his first professional preseason game against the Bills. The rookie was targeted multiple times on the team's second drive with starting quarterback Jared Goff at the helm. St. Brown picked up a modest three-yard catch on the drive and then came down with a nine-yard reception to keep the drive alive. St. Brown also would have a 13-yard catch negated by penalty. The Lions offense could be a work in progress in the early stretches of the season but the hope that St. Brown would be an early contributor was affirmed, for the moment, in this first test.--Joey C - RotoBaller
