Austin Hooper To Be Move Involved This Season
3 years agoCleveland Browns tight end Austin Hooper will have a more prominent role in the offense moving ahead, according to head coach Kevin Stefanski. Whether or not that will happen remains to be seen, primarily with the return of Odell Beckham Jr. (knee) and competition with Jarvis Landry, Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt, and David Njoku, among others, for looks from Baker Mayfield. Hooper's production went south during his first season with the club, finishing with 46 catches off of 70 targets to go along with 435 receiving yards and four touchdowns, which were all a reduction from the 2019-20 campaign. Nonetheless, the 26-year-old has upside, although managers shouldn't go out of the way to acquire his services during upcoming fantasy drafts.
