Kevin Harvick Fortunes Could Rest Again on Track Position
3 years agoKevin Harvick has an underperforming car. That much is known. What the No. 4 has done with it all season has been impressive. The Stewart-Haas Racing driver has 16 top-ten finishes on the year but no wins. Likely, Harvick will not win on Sunday but he could lurk around the top five. There is a chance for that but he will have to qualify in the top ten to do so. He started fifth at Daytona (road) and finished sixth. Harvick started fifth at Watkins Glen and finished eighth. Track position will be important for the No. 4 car. He has the ability to keep the car on course but not the speed on longer runs or a car package to contend. For Harvick, track position is king.
