Nick Foles Runs Out Clock In First Preseason Game
3 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Nick Foles completed 1-of-3 passes for eight yards in the team's first preseason game of the season against the Dolphins. As the third-string quarterback, the veteran passer merely was in the game to wind down the clock. He attempted some passes on the first two series and did not look very comfortable. It is hard to judge Foles' play when he playing among third-string players and there is zero indication, barring injury, he will be ascending up the depth chart. Foles still will be a player to monitor as the regular season draws closer as a trade candidate to another team that would give him a shot at being a starter again.
