3 years agoArizona Diamondbacks catcher Carson Kelly isn't starting on Saturday against the San Diego Padres and right-hander Joe Musgrove. Kelly has been plenty productive at the plate for both the Diamondbacks and fantasy managers, batting .262 with a .388 on-base percentage and eight home runs in 232 plate appearances. It'll be Daulton Varsho starting behind the plate instead on Saturday. Varsho is batting seventh and could be worth a look as a streaming option in deeper leagues where on-base percentage is part of the scoring. In 166 plate appearances, this season the 24-year-old is batting .210 with a .319 on-base percentage, six home runs, and four stolen bases.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
