3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Avisail Garcia (hand) went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Pirates. Making his first appearance since Tuesday, Garcia got the start in right field and hit cleanup, and launched a homer to left-center field in the seventh inning to round out the big inning. It was the 21st longball of the year for Garcia, a new career-high. The 30-year-old is slashing .269/.334/.486 in 398 plate appearances on the year. He's having one of his best seasons as a professional.--James Stokke
