Jaime Barria Doesn't Make It Past The Third
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels right-hander Jaime Barria (2-1) didn't pitch well against the Houston Astros on Saturday, only pitching three innings. He gave up three runs on seven hits, struck out one, and also walked a batter. It ended his streak of three quality starts in a row since returning to the Angels rotation in late July. On the year, he has a 4.71 ERA, 14 K, and 11 BB in 28.2 IP. He should remain in the rotation even after this start, as he's posted a 3.18 ERA in his last four starts. Barria doesn't offer much in terms of strikeouts but can be a good streaming option against weaker offenses.
