3 years agoNew York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor (oblique) could be activated from the injured list when the team returns from its road trip next week, according to Justin Toscano of NorthJersey.com. Lindor has been out of action since suffering a Grade 2 oblique strain in mid-July, as he was sidelined just after he began to heat up at the plate by slashing .283/.421/.413 with two homers, two steals, 11 RBI and nine runs scored over his last 15 games prior to the injury. Managers should keep an eye out for any changes over the next week, and tentatively be prepared for his return next Tuesday against the Giants.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
