Fernando Tatis Jr. Goes Wild In Return From IL
3 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. had himself a field day in his first game back from the injured list Sunday, going 4-for-5 with two home runs, a double, four RBI, and three runs scored. He batted leadoff and started in right field for the first time in his career. Tatis Jr. now has 33 home runs for the year, and the MVP award appears to be his to lose. Fantasy managers have now dodged multiple injury bullets with the young superstar, and the only drawback to rostering him at this point is the possibility of more missed time.
