Anthony McFarland Jr. Better Prepared In 2021
3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back Anthony McFarland Jr. turned in a solid outing in his team's second preseason game, rushing for 34 yards and a touchdown in a 24-16 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. McFarland was quiet in his rookie year, rushing just 33 times for 113 yards and adding six catches for 54 yards after the Steelers used a fourth-round pick on him in the 2020 draft. The former Maryland Terrapin is reportedly having an excellent camp and is better prepared for the NFL after COVID-19 cancelled the 2020 preseason. While McFarland won't get much work behind Najee Harris, he's worth a taxi-squad stash in deep dynasty leagues in case anything happens to Harris this year.
