3 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Connor Joe went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored in a 6-5 win over the San Diego Padres on Monday. Joe led things off with a bang, sending a Ryan Weathers offering over the wall in center field in the bottom of the first inning. He would reach base again in the third inning with a single and come around to score off a Trevor Story RBI double. The 29-year-old outfielder has been filling in nicely out of the leadoff spot for the Rockies and is now slashing a healthy .291/.359/.496 with seven home runs and 25 RBI over 127 at-bats this season. He seems to have found his power stroke, hitting six home runs in the last 15 games. He could be of some use in deeper mixed leagues.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
