3 years agoColorado Rockies pitcher Chi Chi Gonzalez (illness) will return from the COVID-19 list and start Wednesday's game against the San Diego Padres. He will fill in for Austin Gomber, who was placed on the paternity list Tuesday. The 29-year-old has struggled this season, owning a 6.06 ERA, 1.46 WHIP, and 53 strikeouts across 90 2/3 innings. Gonzalez can't be trusted to be used as a streamer and should be avoided in all league formats. Gomber will miss at least the next three days and it's unclear at this time if he will make a turn in the rotation this week.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
