3 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Teoscar Hernandez homered in his third-straight game on Tuesday as his club fell to the Nationals 12-6. His fifth inning blast off Erick Fedde cashed in two runs for his 21st long ball of the season as he finished the night going 2-for-4 with two runs and a walk. Hernandez is now hitting .360 so far in the second half with 10 homers in 31 games to push his batting average on the season to .316 with 60 runs and 83 RBI. Managers can continue to count on the 28-year-old for stellar production the rest of the way with his full-time job as the cleanup hitter secured.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
