3 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles waived running back Kerryon Johnson on Tuesday, although an injured reserve designation remains a possibility. Knee issues plagued Johnson throughout his three seasons in Detroit. Although expectations were high for the former Auburn Tiger to take over as the lead back for the Lions, that never happened, and instead, he was released by the team back in May. Nonetheless, if Johnson can stay healthy, he has a shot at becoming a stable backup somewhere in the league.
