Yadiel Hernandez Homers, Drives In Three
3 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Yadiel Hernandez had a big day at the plate against the Toronto Blue Jays Tuesday, going 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs scored. The home run, a two-run shot off starting pitcher Alek Manoah, was Hernandez's fifth of the season. Hernandez has been on fire at the plate over his last 30 games, with a .373/.442/.567 slash line in 76 plate appearances. He's in a very advantageous position in the lineup behind Juan Soto and Josh Bell, making him a sneaky add for the rest of the season.
