3 years agoTampa Bay Rays catcher Mike Zunino went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run during Tuesday's 10-0 win over the Baltimore Orioles. He blasted a two-run shot off Orioles ace John Means in the fourth inning for his 26th long ball of the season. The 30-year-old has now homered in five straight contests. He is one shy of Carlos Pena's franchise record. "He's swinging the bat really, really well. Just not missing pitches," said Rays manager Kevin Cash. "It seems like when he gets a ball to handle, he's doing big, big damage with it. He's just putting together just an awesome season." Zunino is slashing .215/.301/.567 with 26 home runs, 48 RBI, and 48 runs scored over 279 plate appearances in 2021. Fantasy managers should continue to start the Rays catcher while he's crushing the ball in August.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
