Tyler Naquin Hits Homer, Singles
3 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Tyler Naquin went 2-for-4 with a solo homer in a 7-1 loss to the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday. Naquin provided the only offense for the Reds with a second-inning homer off of Cubs starter Adrian Sampson on an afternoon where the team only managed six hits. After a slow month of July, Naquin is heating up at the plate, hitting .340 with two homers and eight RBI in his past 15 games. Overall, he's slashing .257/.324/.440 with 15 homers, 42 runs, 63 RBI, and five steals across 350 at-bats.
