3 years agoSan Francisco Giants pitcher Anthony DeSclafani (ankle) will undergo an MRI on Thursday. He exited his start on Wednesday against the New York Mets due to right ankle discomfort. The 31-year-old allowed one hit and one walk while striking out one across 1 1/3 innings before exiting. He reportedly was moving around pretty good after the game. DeSclafani is considered day-to-day and could make his next turn in the rotation. The Giants should have a more precise timetable for the right-hander after his MRI on Thursday. DeSclafani has been efficient in 2021, owning a 3.29 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, and 122 punchouts across 131 1/3 innings.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
