3 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Pete Fairbanks (shoulder) will throw a bullpen session on Thursday in Port Charlotte. Barring any setbacks, he could head to Triple-A soon. The right-hander felt good after his bullpen session on Saturday and is trending in the right direction. Tampa Bay dealt Diego Castillo to the Seattle Mariners at the MLB deadline; Fairbanks should see some save opportunities once activated from the injured list. The 27-year-old converted 5-for-6 save chances, owning a 3.48 ERA, 1.42 WHIP, and a 37:15 K: BB across 31 innings in 2021.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
