Seth Brown Cracks 16th Homer In Loss On Wednesday
3 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Seth Brown blasted his 16th homer of the season in a 3-2 loss to the White Sox on Wednesday. It was his only hit in two at-bats before Stephen Piscotty pinch-hit for Brown and took over in left field. Brown and Piscotty have been splitting duties in left after Ramon Laureano was suspended for PEDs and neither Piscotty nor Brown offers much help to fantasy managers. Brown has big power as evidenced by his 16 homers and .477 slugging percentage, but he's also hitting just .209 on the season and is striking out 28% of the time. Brown's fantasy appeal is limited to cheap power in DFS on days he's in the lineup.
