DeVonta Smith To Make Preseason Debut
3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith will make his preseason debut on Thursday against the New England Patriots. The Heisman Trophy winner will likely only see a bit of action, but it is a great sign he will get some playing time considering he has been dealing with a knee injury throughout training camp. The remaining preseason action can be used to build a rapport with quarterback Jalen Hurts to make up for any time lost because of his injury. The former Alabama star will likely head into a scenario where he is the No. 1 option in the passing game, so he is an intriguing fantasy option in redraft formats and potentially an elite option in dynasty leagues. With an average draft position of around pick 80, the rookie can potentially be well worth his current price.
