3 years agoSeattle Mariners infielder Ty France had the biggest hit of the day against the Texas Rangers Thursday, hitting a two-run home run in the top of the 11th inning off reliever Joe Barlow to give Seattle the lead for good in a 9-8 victory. He went 3-for-6 in the game with three RBI and two runs scored. France is slashing .357/.367/.643 in his last seven games, bringing his season OPS all the way up to .799. He has just 13 homers on the season, but five have come in the last 30 days, giving fantasy managers hope that his power numbers could surge the rest of the way.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
